CEAT
Convective Environment Analysis Toolkit (CEAT) is a meteorological analysis project for examining thermodynamic, kinematic and composite severe-weather environments.
Diagnostics
SBCAPE, MLCAPE, MUCAPE, CIN, LCL/LFC/EL, ECAPE, DCAPE, effective SRH, effective shear, STP, SCP, SHIP and BRN, together with sounding and tabular products.
South Dakota
Hourly warm-season environmental analysis and climatological diagnostics across South Dakota, including the expanded 2001–2026 climatology.
Bulgaria
Extension of the CEAT framework to Bulgaria using ERA5 pressure-level data and an offline national boundary/grid workflow.
Validation
CEAT development includes severe-weather episode matching and diagnostic validation for hail, tornado and damaging-wind environments.
Scientific purpose
The project is designed to make long-period environmental analysis reproducible while retaining diagnostics useful to operational severe-weather meteorologists.
